These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the site perlaitaly.com and the purchase of Perla Italia products. By placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Seller

Perla Italia is run by a private seller (natural person) based in Italy — Email: perla.support@gmail.com. No VAT invoice is issued.

2. Products and prices

We describe our products as accurately as possible. Colours and details may vary slightly depending on the display device and on availability. Prices are shown in the currency of the relevant market, include VAT where applicable and include shipping. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies is the one at the time of your order.

3. Orders

The order is concluded when you receive the confirmation email. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if the product is unavailable or in case of an obvious pricing error.

4. Payments

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Bancontact. Where available, you can pay in instalments with Klarna. All payments are handled by secure providers: card details never pass through our systems.

5. Shipping

Shipping is free with no minimum order. Times vary from product to product and are shown on each product page and on the Shipping & Delivery page: in short, bandanas 5 – 9 business days, bowls 7 – 15, collars and leashes 20 – 28, pet tags, beds and mats 10 – 20. The times given are estimates and are not an essential term of the contract, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason; on non-personalized items the period is extended to 30 days. How to withdraw, the withdrawal form, return costs (paid by the customer) and refund times (within 14 days of notice of withdrawal) are on the Returns & Refunds page.

Under art. 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code, items made with content supplied by the customer (name, text, photo or design uploaded in the personalization studio) are excluded from withdrawal, except in case of a lack of conformity or an error on our part. An item with one of our catalogue patterns and no customer content is not considered personalized.

7. Limitation of liability and force majeure

We are not liable for delivery delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as strikes, weather events, customs delays or failures by the couriers handling the shipment. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to the customer for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that order, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damage. These limitations do not apply in case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to personal injury, or to product liability under art. 114 and following of the Italian Consumer Code. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights the law grants to consumers, including the legal guarantee of conformity.

8. Guarantee

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (art. 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code) for defects that appear within two years of delivery. To use it, write to us within two months of discovering the defect, ideally with a photo: we replace the item or, if that isn't possible, reduce the price or refund you. Our cover for defects reported within 14 days of delivery, described on the Returns & Refunds page, comes on top of the legal guarantee and does not replace it.

9. Intellectual property

All site content (texts, images, logo, "Perla Italia" trademark) belongs to Perla Italia and may not be reproduced without permission. Photos and texts uploaded by customers during personalization remain the customer's property; the customer confirms they have the right to use them and authorizes us to use them solely to produce the item ordered.

By uploading photos, texts or designs you confirm that you hold the rights to them, including the consent of any people shown, and that they do not infringe the rights of others (copyright, trademarks, image rights). You remain responsible for the content you upload. We do not print unlawful or offensive content, or content that reproduces others' works or trademarks without permission: in that case we cancel the order with a full refund.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction. Consumers may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed in the register kept by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
